Description | Draft of letter from BG to Malcolm Rifkind, MP, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs. The letter draws attention to reparations and return of property to Jewish people after the Nazi era and the need to similarly investigate reparations and restitution to African people: ‘Our demands are similar to those which were granted to Jewish people after the holocaust. These include compensation, an apology and the return of artefacts which were looted from Africa during the period of Enslavement and Colonisation...’ |
